“Narada said, ‘Rama, the son of Dasaratha, O Srinjaya, we hear, fell aprey to death. His subjects were as much delighted with him, as a sire isdelighted with the children of his loins.
“Lomasa said, ‘The Kalakeyas then having recourse to that receptacle ofwaters, which is the abode of Varuna, began their operations for thedestruction of the universe.
एक बार राजा अजातशत्रु एक साथ कई मुसीबतों से घिर गए। उन्हें समझ में नहीं आ रहा था कि इन आपदाओं को कैसे दूर किया जाए। वह दिन-रात इसी चिंता में डूबे रहते। तभी एक दिन उनकी मुलाकात एक वाममार्गी तांत्रिक से हुई। उन्होंने उस तांत्रिक को अपनी आपदाओं के बारे में बताया।
