शिव विवाह
सती के विरह में शंकरजी की दयनीय दशा हो गई। वे हर पल सती का ही ध्यान करते रहते और उन्हीं की चर्चा में व्यस्त रहते। उधर सती ने भी शरीर का त्याग करते समय संकल्प किया था कि मैं राजा हिमालय के यहाँ जन्म लेकर शंकरजी की अर्द्धांगिनी बनूँ।
