युधिष्ठिर जुए में अपना सर्वस्व हार गए थे| छलपूर्वक, शकुनि ने उनका समस्त वैभव जीत लिया था| अपने भाइयों को, अपने को और रानी द्रौपदी को भी बारी-बारी से युधिष्ठिर ने दांव पर रखा|

मूर्खराज (बादशाह अकबर और बीरबल)
बादशाह अकबर बीरबल को बहुत मानते थे| बीरबल बड़े बुद्धिमान थे और अपनी विनोदपूर्ण बातों से बादशाह को प्रसन्न रखते थे| अकबर और बीरबल के विनोद की बहुत-सी बातें प्रचलित हैं| उनमें से कुछ बातें बड़े काम की हैं| एक घटना हम यहाँ सुना रहे हैं|
