रामानुजाचार्य प्राचीन काल में हुए एक प्रसिद्ध विद्वान थे। उनका जन्म मद्रास नगर के समीप पेरुबुदूर गाँव में हुआ था। बाल्यकाल में इन्हें शिक्षा ग्रहण करने के लिए भेजा गया। रामानुज के गुरु ने बहुत मनोयोग से शिष्य को शिक्षा दी।
