स्वस्थ और सुखी जीवन का रहस्य
पुराने समय में एक राजा था। राजा के पास सभी सुख-सुविधाएं और असंख्य सेवक-सेविकाएं हर समय उनकी सेवा उपलब्ध रहते थे। उन्हें किसी चीज की कमी नहीं थी। फिर भी राजा उसके जीवन के सुखी नहीं था। क्योंकि वह अपने स्वास्थ्य को लेकर काफी परेशान रहता था।

खिजाब और दिमाग (बादशाह अकबर और बीरबल)
उम्र के एक पड़ाव पर पहुंचकर अकबर के बाल भी सफेद हो गए थे| वह बालों को काला करने के लिए खिजाब लगाने लगे थे| एक दिन खिजाब लगाते हुए उन्होंने बीरबल से यूं ही पूछ लिया – “बीरबल, खिजाब लगाने से दिमाग पर कोई असर तो नहीं होता है न?”

कुसंग का दुष्परिणाम
सच है, कोई पुरुष अत्यंत धैर्यवान, दयालु, सद्गुणी, सदाचारी, नीतिज्ञ, कर्तव्यनिष्ठ और गुरु का भक्त अथवा विधा-विवेक सम्पन्न भी क्यों न हो, यदि वह निरंतर अत्यंत पापबुद्धि दुष्ट पुरुषों का संग करेगा तो अवश्य ही क्रमशः उन्हीं की बुद्धि से प्रभावित होकर उन्हीं के समान हो जाएगा| इसलिए सदा ही दुष्ट पुरुषों का संग त्याग देना चाहिए|
