Chapter 17
1 And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, by their journeys, according to the commandment of Jehovah, and encamped in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.
मैया मोरी, मैं नही माखन खायो
भोर भयो गैयन के पाछे, मधुवन मोहि पठायो ।
चार पहर वंशीवट भटक्यो, सांझ परे घर आयो ॥

कृतवर्मा हृदिक का पुत्र था| वह बड़ा शूरवीर था, लेकिन साथ में कुटिल और क्रूर प्रकृति का भी था| उसने कौरवों के पक्ष में खड़े होकर पाण्डवों के विरुद्ध युद्ध किया था|
Chapter 70
“Dhritarashtra said, ‘I request thee, O Sanjaya, to tell me again of thelotus-eyed Krishna; for, by being acquainted with the import of hisnames, I may, O son, obtain that most exalted of male beings.’
