पतितौ हंसडिभकौ कंसामात्यौ निपातितौ
जरासंधस्य निधने कालॊ ऽयं समुपागतः
Vaishampayana said, “Dhritarashtra had not proceeded for more than twomiles when he met with those three great car-warriors, Sharadvatas sonKripa, Dronas son (Ashvatthama), and Kritavarma.

ततः परज्वलिते शुक्रे शार्ङ्गकास ते सुदुःखिताः
वयथिताः परमॊद्विग्ना नाधिजग्मुः परायणम

बहवः पुरुषा बरह्मन्न उताहॊ एक एव तु
कॊ हय अत्र पुरुषः शरेष्ठः कॊ वा यॊनिर इहॊच्यते
“Narada said, ‘Alighting then on the peak of the Rishabha, the Brahmanaand the Bird beheld a Brahmana lady of the name of Sandili, engaged thereon ascetic penances.
“Sanjaya said, ‘When the spies (of Duryodhana), having heard that louduproar made by the Pandavas desirous of victory, informed (their mastersof the cause),
दाद छूत का रोग है| यह रोगी व्यक्ति के कपड़ों तथा वस्तुओं को छूने मात्र से ही हो जाता है| यह शुरू में धीरे-धीरे लेकिन कुछ दिनों बाद बड़ी तेजी से फैलता है|

इदं तु मे महद दुःखं यत परवक्ष्यामि भारत
न मे ऽभयसूया कर्तव्या दुःखाद एतद बरवीम्य अहम
“Vaisampayana said, ‘King Drupada, after his alliance with the Pandavas,had all his fears dispelled. Indeed, the monarch no longer stood in feareven of the gods. The ladies of the illustrious Drupada’s householdapproached Kunti and introduced themselves unto her, mentioning theirrespective names, and worshipped her feet with heads touching the ground.
