“Chyavana said, ‘Do thou accept a boon from me. Do thou also, O chief ofmen, tell me what the doubt is that is in thy mind. I shall certainlyaccomplish all thy purposes.’

“Yudhishthira said, ‘All persons on earth, O foremost of men, applaudvirtuous behaviour. I have, however, great doubts with respect to thisobject of their praise. If the topic be capable of being understood byus, O foremost of virtuous men, I desire to hear everything about the wayin which virtuous behaviour can be acquired. How indeed, is thatbehaviour acquired, O Bharata! I desire to hear it. Tell me also, Oforemost of speakers, what has been said to be the characteristics ofthat behaviour.’

“Sanjaya said, ‘Then Karna, that slayer of hostile heroes, beholdingPrishata’s son in battle, struck him on the chest with ten shafts capableof penetrating into the very vitals.
आमाशय और अंतड़ियों में बहुत से विकार पाए जाते हैं| उनमें से कृमि रोग भी बच्चे को परेशान करता है| ये कृमि लगभग 20 प्रकार के होते हैं जो अंतड़ियों में घाव पैदा कर देते हैं| अत: रोगी बेचैन हो जाता है| ये पेट में वायु को बढ़ा देते हैं जिसके कारण हृदय की धड़कन बढ़ जाती है| कृमि रोग में रोगी को उबकाई आती रहती है| कई बार भोजन के प्रति अरुचि भी उत्पन्न हो जाती है| चक्कर आने लगते हैं तथा प्यास अधिक लगती है|

तत्राकरॊद दुष्करं राजपुत्रॊ; दुःशासनस तुमुले युध्यमानः
चिच्छेद भीमस्य धनुः कषुरेण; षड्भिः शरैः सारथिम अप्य अविध्यत
“Janamejaya said, ‘While living thus disguised in the city of theMatsyas, what did those descendants of the Kuru race endued with greatprowess, do, O regenerate one!’
