Chapter 128
“Vaisampayana said, ‘Then Bhishma and Kunti with their friends celebratedthe Sraddha of the deceased monarch, and offered the Pinda. And theyfeasted the Kauravas and thousands of Brahmanas unto whom they also gavegems and lands.
Chapter 43
“Dhritarashtra said, ‘What is the object of asceticism (mauna)? Of thetwo kinds of mauna (viz., the restraining of speech and meditation),which is approved by thee?
हनुमान जी और भीम
भीम को यह अभिमान हो गया था कि संसार में मुझसे अधिक बलवान कोई और नहीं है| सौ हाथियों का बल है उसमें, उसे कोई परास्त नहीं कर सकता… और भगवान अपने सेवक में किसी भी प्रकार का अभिमान रहने नहीं देते| इसलिए श्रीकृष्ण ने भीम के कल्याण के लिए एक लीला रच दी|
Chapter 179
Vaisampayana continued, “Yudhishthira, finding his beloved brother coiledby the body of the serpent, said these words: ‘O son of Kunti, how hastthou come by this misfortune!
भगवान् भाव के भूखे हैं
गृहस्थी में रहने वाले एक बड़े अच्छे त्यागी पंडित थे| त्याग साधुओं का ठेका नहीं है| गृहस्थमें, साधुमें, सभी में त्याग हो सकता है| त्याग साधु वेष में ही हो; ऐसी बात नहीं है| पण्डित जी बड़े विचारवान थे| भागवत की कथा कहा करते थे| एक धनी आदमी ने उनसे दीक्षा ली और कहा-‘महाराज! कोई सेवा बताओ|’

“Brahmana said, ‘Some regard Brahman as a tree. Some regard Brahman as agreat forest. Some regard Brahman as unmanifest.
श्री गायत्री चालीसा – Shri Gaytri Chalisa
भगवती गायत्री आद्यशक्ति प्रकृति के पाँच स्वरूपों में एक हैं| भगवान व्यास कहते हैं कि गायत्री मन्त्र समस्त वेदों का सार है| गायत्री चालीसा के नित्य पाठ से मनुष्य सभी रोग-दोष तथा आवागमन के बंधन से मुक्त होता है एवं धन-धान्य से परिपूर्ण होता है साथ ही उसकी सभी मनोकामनाएं भी पूरी होती हैं|
