“‘Vasishtha said, Listen now to me as I discourse to thee on Buddhas(Supreme Soul) and Abuddha (Jiva) which is the dispensation of attributesof Sattwa, Rajas, and Tamas.

कारणं बरूहि गन्धर्व किं तद येन सम धर्षिताः
यान्तॊ बरह्मविदः सन्तः सर्वे रात्राव अरिंदम
भला आदमी
एक धनी पुरुष ने एक मंदिर बनवाया| मंदिर में भगवान् की पूजा करने के लिये पुजारी रखा| मंदिर के खर्च के लिये बहुत-सी भूमि, खेत और बगीचे मन्दिर के नाम लगाये|
रैवत
प्राचीन काल में अतवाक नाम के एक महर्षि थे| बहुत समय तक उनकी पत्नी के गर्भ से कोई भी पुत्र पैदा नहीं हुआ, इस कारण वे बड़े दुखी रहते थे, लेकिन फिर विधाता की इच्छा को ही अंतिम सत्य मानकर अपने भाग्य पर संतोष कर लेते थे|

“Vidura said, ‘O son of Vichitravirya, Manu, the son of the Self-created,hath, O king, spoken of the following seven and ten kinds of men, asthose that strike empty space with their fists, or seek to bend thevapoury bow of Indra in the sky, or desire to catch the intangible raysof the sun.
Chapter 185
“Markandeya continued, ‘O thou conqueror of hostile cities, in thisconnection Saraswati too, when interrogated by that intelligent MuniTarkshya, had said (this). Do thou listen to her words!
भोग लगाने का मन्त्र – Bhog Lgane ka Mantra
त्वदीयं वस्तु गोविन्द तुभ्यमेव समर्पये ।
गृहाण सम्मुखो भूत्वा प्रसीद परमेश्वर ।।
