कृष्णायसस्येव च ते संहत्य हृदयं कृतम
मम मातस तव अकरुणे वैरप्रज्ञे हय अमर्षणे
“Vaisampayana said, ‘Meanwhile, O Janamejaya, Dhritarashtra begat uponGandhari a hundred sons, and upon a Vaisya wife another besides thosehundred. And Pandu had, by his two wives Kunti and Madri, five sons whowere great charioteers and who were all begotten by the celestials forthe perpetuation of the Kuru line.’
Vaisampayana said, “The Rishis, the Brahmanas, and Yudhishthira thenasked Markandeya, saying, ‘How did the Rishi Vaka become so long lived?’
महाराष्ट्र में समर्थ गुरु रामदास बाबा एक बहुत विचित्र संत हुए हैं| इस्म्के समंध में एक कथा प्रसिद्ध है| ये हनुमानजी के भक्त थे और इनको हनुमानजी के दर्शन हुआ करते थे| एक बार बाबा जी ने हनुमान जी से कहा कि ‘महाराज! आप एक दिन सब लोगों को दर्शन दें|’ हनुमान जी से कहा कि ‘तुम लोगों को इकट्ठा करो तो मैं दर्शन दूंगा|’ बाबा जी बोले कि ‘लोगों को तो मैं हरिकथा से इकट्ठा कर लूँगा|’
“Arjuna said, ‘It behoveth thee to expound Brahma to me,–that which isthe highest object of knowledge. Through thy favour, my mind is delightedwith these subtle disquisitions.’
