अधिकार की रोटी
बहुत पुरानी बात है। एक राजा था। उसके पास एक दिन एक संत आए। उन्होंने कई विषयों पर चर्चा की। राजा और संत में कई प्रश्नों पर खुलकर बहस भी हुई। अचानक बातों ही बातों में संत ने अधिकार की रोटी की चर्चा की। राजा ने इसके बारे में विस्तार से जानना चाहा तो संत ने उसे एक बुढ़िया का पता दिया और कहा कि वही उसे इसकी सही जानकारी दे सकती है।
विश्वामित्र का अहंकार
एक दिन इंद्र की सभा में विश्वामित्र और वशिष्ठ के आलावा देवगण, गंधर्व, पितर और यक्ष आदि बैठे हुए चर्चा कर रहे थे की इस धरती पर सबसे बड़ा दानी, धर्मात्मा और सत्यवादी कौन है?
