“Vidura said, ‘O son of Vichitravirya, Manu, the son of the Self-created,hath, O king, spoken of the following seven and ten kinds of men, asthose that strike empty space with their fists, or seek to bend thevapoury bow of Indra in the sky, or desire to catch the intangible raysof the sun.
“Markandeya continued, ‘O thou conqueror of hostile cities, in thisconnection Saraswati too, when interrogated by that intelligent MuniTarkshya, had said (this). Do thou listen to her words!
त्वदीयं वस्तु गोविन्द तुभ्यमेव समर्पये ।
गृहाण सम्मुखो भूत्वा प्रसीद परमेश्वर ।।
एक बाबा जी कहीं जा रहें थे| रास्ते में एक खेत आया| बाबा जी वहाँ लघुशंका के लिये (पेशाब करने) बैठ गये| पीछे से खेत के मालिक ने उनको देखा तो समझा कि हमारे खेत में से मतीरा चुराकर ले जाने वाला यही है; क्योंकि खेत में से मतीरों की चोरी हुआ करती थी| उसने पीछे से आकर बाबा जी के सिर पर लाठी मारी और बोला-‘हमारे खेतो में मतीरा चुराता है?’
‘Brahmana said, From Egoism were verily born the five great elements.They are earth, air, ether, water, and light numbering the fifth.
अब तो निभायां सरेगी बांह गहे की लाज।
समरथ शरण तुम्हारी सैयां सरब सुधारण काज॥
