109. Al-Kafirun (1 to 6)
Say, “O disbelievers, I do not worship what you worship., Nor are you worshippers of what I worship., Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship…
1 قُلْ يَٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْكَفِرُونَ
qul yaʔ’ʔay:uha’ ‘lkafiruwna
Say, "O disbelievers,
2 لَآ أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ
la’ʔ ‘ʔaʕbudu ma’ taʕbuduwna
I do not worship what you worship.
3 وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ
wala’ʔ ‘ʔantum ʕabiduwna ma’ʔ ‘ʔaʕbudu
Nor are you worshippers of what I worship.
4 وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٌۭ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ
wala’ʔ ‘ʔana’ ʕa’bidunm m:a’ ʕabadt:um
Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship.
5 وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ
wala’ʔ ‘ʔantum ʕabiduwna ma’ʔ ‘ʔaʕbudu
Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship.
6 لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِىَ دِينِ
lakum diynukum waliya diyni
For you is your religion, and for me is my religion."
