Vaisampayana continued, “O king, O lord of men, that slayer of hostileheroes, the Suta’s son, said these words to Duryodhana, ‘O KauravaDuryodhana, do thou lay unto thy heart the words that I shall tell thee;and, O represser of foes, after having heard my words, it behoveth theeto act accordingly every way.

नगॊत्तमं परस्रवणैर उपेतं; दिशां गजैः किंनरपक्षिभिश च
सुखं निवासं जहतां हि तेषां; न परीतिर आसीद भरतर्षभाणाम
एक फकीर था | वह जंगल में घास-फूस की कुटिया बनाकर रहता था| उसे एक विद्या आती थी, वह पीतल को सोना बना देता था, लेकिन इस विद्या का प्रयोग वह तभी करता था, जब उसे उसकी बहुत जरूरत होती थी और वह भी गरीबों के फायदे के लिए|
