Best Way to Connect with Nature

In this age of information technology, it has become a widespread phenomenon to remain busy in the offices and other bread earning sources. The weekday edition of the New York Times contains more information than the average person was exposed to during the entire lifetime in seventeenth century England. The time required to spend to get entertainment or to relax has become less with more time spending in front of the computers and in the offices. The simple act of sitting in a wooden park and listening to the wind move through the leaves fills with a sense of quiet and peace. Communicating with the nature is also an excellent way to unlock your creativity and generate new ideas.

Various inventions took place while being in nature. Newton formulated the laws of gravity while relaxing under an apple tree. Likewise Swiss designer George de Mestral developed Velcro after examining burdock burrs that clung to his dog while he hiked in the mountains. Natural surroundings actually serve to stifle the endless chatter that fills our minds so that our true brilliance can be liberated.

Observing the nature increases the deeper concentration. When we observe the complexity of the flowers, our heart fills with a feeling of joy. We must silently be thankful to God for showering the unforeseen blessings. When we take the shoes off, and feel the grass under the feet, amazing feelings come.

As mahatma Gandhi observed- “when I admire the wonder of a sunset or the beauty of the moon, my soul expands in the worship of the creator.
